Cancer treatment has never been better than it is today. This also implies that today more people than ever are living with a cured or surgically removed cancer. Unfortunately, this often means a lifelong risk of relapse. Individualized cancer vaccines could reduce that risk for many millions of people globally. For another group of patients, where existing treatment options are insufficient, cancer vaccines combined with existing immunotherapy can represent a completely new treatment option.
