My aim is to create optimal conditions for teaching music composition by developing and concretising forms for the methodology of music making. There is a great lack of teaching material in composition methodology. I have my own experience of this in teaching at the Academy of Music. After 46 years of teaching composition in music at the Malmö Academy of Music, Lund University, I want to share my experiences in the subject and contribute to raising the level of future composition teaching.
