Perspective-taking is necessary to facilitate dialogues between opposing views and to develop collective intelligence in interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral collaborations. We now need examples and experiences that illustrate how we take more complex perspectives. We also need new ways to measure and evaluate the level of perspective taking so that we can see and operate from these perspectives to a greater extent.
