SMADA – Specific maths difficulties – Diagnosis and pedagogical and didactical adaptations

The aim of the SMADA project is to address a national problem in the field of maths difficulties. Research-based knowledge is needed in this area. Maths difficulties impact a pupil’s everyday life, self-esteem and future life opportunities negatively. Through an interdisciplinary collaboration between medical assessment practice and pedagogy/didactics, the project can improve and promote a pupil’s knowledge, health, well-being and equality. This can have a major individual benefit as well as a societal benefit.
