“Midwifery student in every part” – an educational model for relationship building between student and pregnant women through pregnancy, birth and aftercare

We believe that through our unique pedagogical element we can give the students the best possible conditions for acquiring knowledge about the woman’s encounter with the entire care chain and experience of the importance of the relationship in the care situation. Before we can introduce the module for all students and spread it to other programmes, it is crucial to ensure good pedagogical quality. Evidence-based methods for care professions are in demand and the project can benefit other professional education than ours.
