April 24 Sten K Johnson Foundation visited the Annual General Meeting for Connect Skåne. The well attended meeting gave many opportunities to discuss ideas and meet with prospective scholarship candidates. The applications have started to come in to our foundation and the applications are evenly distributed among the different areas.

April 15th we participated in Sydsvenskans “Five to three” at Medicon Village in Lund. The theme was “Does a modern entrepreneur have to give away his money?” Elisabeth Tarras-Wahlberg and Tove Lifvendahl were on stage and  together with Thomas Frostberg from Sydsvenskan they discussed the modern filantrophy. The 13th March we participated at the  Sten K Johnson Entrepreneurial-center event for entrepreneurship and intrapreuership. Among other participants was  Elizabeth Brevenson, CEO  at Beepsend. Elizabeth launched her operation in 2006 thanks to an investment from Sten K Johnson. Beepsend now has 23 employees and a turnover of more than 100 MSEK.
