In a week, Saturday 18th January, we will open the  application period for 2014 for our scholarships. We close the application period on Sunday 16th February.

Today, our Foundation had our the first Scholarship Award Ceremony. >> Read more about it here 56 lucky recipients share 7.7 million SEK. Next grant announcement will be in January. Keep an eye on the website.

Now we have sent out answers to everyone who received and did not receive scholarships from the Foundation this year. If you have not received an answer, let us know. The Scholarship award ceremoni will be November 14th, and after that we will  publish all the projects on this webpage.

Our Board has made ​​the decision about which scholarships to award. During October, we will, as soon as we can, inform all the lucky ones who received a scholarship and all the less fortunate who did not get any of our scholarships this year. The Scholarship Award Ceremony takes place

During the summer we at Sten K Johnson Foundation have studied all the 557 applictions we received. We were overwhelmed by the enormous interest from so many people. It has been a pleasure to read about all the interesting and exciting projects. The selection process is at full speed and

The Foundation has now enrolled two specialists who will help us examine applications in Medicine, Technology and Entrepreneurship. Our specialists are Anders Malmström, Professor in Experimental Medical science and Andreas Larsson, Associate Professor in Innovation Engineering.  

We have received more than 50 applications! A bit more in Entrepreneurship but otherwise an even distribution between the different areas.  Another three weeks of application time remains. The scholarships will be awarded in mid November.
