This is particularly true of our Swedish music. The Royal Academy of Music&#8217;s unique initiative &#8220;Live Musical Heritage&#8221; aims to make available the hidden treasures of significant Swedish art music which today is very difficult to obtain and which is often in a deplorable physical condition (decaying paper, fading ink, etc.). This has meant that older Swedish music is not common today, bordering on non-existent, in the live repertoire in Sweden.
