The objective of the project is to further develop the BioAcoustic Index Tool as a cost-effective, easy-to-deploy tool that can be used to track the status of ecosystems in Skåne. This can, for example, help to monitor populations of the endangered European Green Toad, track movement patterns of migratory birds, or assess levels of biodiversity in Skånes beech forests. Reliable, real-time data will help us respond better and this project aims to make collecting that data easier.
